The incredibly detail miniature castle used for all of the Harry Potter films, featured at Leavesden Studios, Warner Drive, Hertfordshire, Watford, UK.
“Before the actual set construction began, the Art Department created white card models. These models helped the director and production designer look at size and scale, and determine camera angles.”
It took a total of 86 artists to build the castle. And sitting at nearly 50 ft in diameter, the model would total 74 years of man hours if your were to add all the hours that went into creating this beautiful masterpiece.
